Dudley Nautilus Sub Aqua Club |

|---|---|---|
BSAC Branch 0866 |
In
1973 a group of black country diving enthusiasts
founded Dudley Nautilus Sub Aqua Club. The club today has between 50 to 60
members of whom there are five BSAC qualified instructors ranging from Club
to Advanced and seven Assistant instructors working their way towards Instructor
level 1. Active diving members range from the ages of 14 to over 60+.
We're based at
Halesowen
Leisure Centre and hire the pool every Thursday night
to be used free of charge by members for scuba training
or swimming.
We also have the use of Netherton Reservoir
(Lodge Farm Reservoir) on Thursday Evenings and hold club dives every Saturday morning.
Nautilus also owns two RIBs (Rigid hull Inflatable Boats) one kept at Plymouth for diving trips and the other is based at Netherton Reservoir. Both are well
maintained and fully equipped for diving.
Take a look at our Club Diary. In addition to Diving and Training, the club organises a number of Social Events such as night dives in the winter season, BBQ's in the summer,
and the annual Dinner Dance at Christmas. This is all in addition to the regular meetings at the Social club after training on
Thursday nights.
